in the sky of grey and pink, originally uploaded by bobsee.
Look at these fabulous clouds – taken from above through the window of the plane from Paris to Edinburgh this morning. Reminded me of that photo I took of Ben Ledi when the sky was grey and pink.

How beautiful.
– Although it does remind me of a film set for something which has scenes on an alien planet (superman?). Or perhaps parts of Fantansia / Fantastica from The Neverending Story (it can’t all look like this though, or the Nothing wouldn’t swallow so much land). I don’t think such an image appeared in either of the films though. Perhaps that’s just how I see it in my imagination…
thankyou
I love clouds. They often seem to outdo our imaginations!
How soft! I live in New Mexico and we have gorgeous clouds here. They make my spirit soar, but they’re not as gentle as these.

the only time I visited Albuquerque and Santa Fe there wasn’t a cloud to be seen. Good to know its not always like that!
Glad you liked this one from somewhere north of Paris!
Clouds are great for making your spirits soar aren’t they? I love looking out at the clouds over Ben Ledi every day (search for “Ben Ledi” on my blog here and you’ll see some photos)
amazing photo Bob, and love the link to the ben ledi too!Wonderful, awe inspiring scenes. I love the way images bring to mind other creative elements, and me and my boy enjoyed the ‘caravan’ track that came to mind for you.
When i see a sky like that Bob, it always brings to mind the wonderful ‘hothouse flowers’ track ‘a thing of beauty’…if you arent already familiar with their music, check it out Bob, i think they’re a totally under rated, fabulous irish band, love their music! Thanks for the gorgeous images…keep them coming!
Thank you Bet
Thank you as ever for you lovely kind comments
And thankyou for the Hothouse Flowers reminder – a great song!
