Tokyo is darker at night now. They’ve switched off a lot of the lights because the electricity supply has never returned to pre-Fukushima accident levels.
Beautiful though…maybe more beautiful

Nice !
Tokyo without its usual rampant blaze of lights seems ever so slightly eerie. Great evocative photo.
Speaking of Tokyo… As you may know, last year the association of homeopaths – medical doctors with which I think you have the connection in Japan (correct me if I’m wrong! – and I do not recall their official name right now) have tried to invite the President of the Scientific Committee of Japan ( who was also the Physican to the Emperor) to debates about homeopathy after this person (the President) has publicly declared homeopathy to be charlatanism, and he refused to meet them, saying that he sees no need to discuss this.
I have recently read that in September the President of this Scientific Committee is going to change – a new and younger person is about to become the new President – maybe your Japanese colleagues would like to renew their suggestions about debates concerning homeopathy?
I am aware that this Society of homeopaths – medical doctors beleive that only medical doctors should be allowed to practice homeopathy, still, as a lay homeopath-to-be I think that homeopathy needs to be discussed in the positive light in Japan as the overwhelming majority of the population now considers homeopathy as fraud at best and as sinister cult at worst…
Maybe it would be a good idea to discuss this with your Japanese colleagues?
Thank you for reading – and as usual for the wonderful photograph!
