Holy WOWIE, Doc! SERIOUSLY?! THAT’S what you see outside your bedroom window?
Gee, can I come and live with YOU?!
Oh, yes, mrschili. That’s the REAL view! And all those Ben Ledi shots you can find on this site and across in my flickr account are also taken from my bedroom and living room windows! You can see why I love where I live, huh?
That is stunning, I thought my view pretty good….but…wow, Scotland is just the most incredible place.
I searched your flickr for your mountain/sky shots – they look impressive altogether; great to make a comparison between weather and time of day.
that’s absolutely stunning — so peaceful yet invigorating. what a fabulous way to have the day introduced to you. lucky duck!
thank you so much for the book recommendations on memory, bob. i can’t wait to go get them. much appreciated.
take care. =)
Wow. Enough said.
Thank you.
I went up Ben Ledi one day, several years ago, when it was covered with snow as in your picture, with a bunch of friends. Ice axes and crampons all the way – even the track from the car park was covered in ice. When we got to the summit, all we could see, stretching all the way south to the hills near Stirling, was a sea of mist filling the valley of the River Forth – everything gleaming white in the brilliant sunshine. Some place, Scotland.
