Oh, yes, mrschili. That’s the REAL view! And all those Ben Ledi shots you can find on this site and across in my flickr account are also taken from my bedroom and living room windows! You can see why I love where I live, huh?

That is stunning, I thought my view pretty good….but…wow, Scotland is just the most incredible place.
I searched your flickr for your mountain/sky shots – they look impressive altogether; great to make a comparison between weather and time of day.

I went up Ben Ledi one day, several years ago, when it was covered with snow as in your picture, with a bunch of friends. Ice axes and crampons all the way – even the track from the car park was covered in ice. When we got to the summit, all we could see, stretching all the way south to the hills near Stirling, was a sea of mist filling the valley of the River Forth – everything gleaming white in the brilliant sunshine. Some place, Scotland.
