As I was walking to work this morning, I was suddenly struck by a beautiful scent. I stopped, looked up and saw this honeysuckle.
Oh I wish there was a tag to insert scent into a post!

Glorious scent indeed, we have one in our front garden which greets fragrantly us by the nose as we go in and out the gate. This is, however, a Deciduous Azelea, the Honeysuckle will be out a bit later in the year 🙂
Really? Oh well, it didn’t tell me its name but it sure let me know it smelled good!
Masses of Gorse bushes in bloom just now – heady coconut waft! Wish it could be bottled although someone here has managed to capture a weaker strain in a candle.
The lilac blossom along the cycle path in Bristol stops me in my tracks – almost overpowering. I was also captivated and enchanted by the smell of the honeysuckle in my brother’s garden last weekend. Early morning and evening it was so delicious – a beautiful, fragrant pink and gold flowered variety.
